With Lasik Surgery costing around $2000 per eye for the premium technologies, and around $600 per eye for the less expensive procedure, the question is how to pay for the surgery if you are not made of money. Many of the doctors offer financing but their interest rates are ridiculously high. You may be better off taking advantage of one of your credit cards if they have a low finance rate for a year. You might look at taking out a home loan and then it may be tax deductable also. If you can plan ahead using your healthcare spending account at the beginning of the year you can do it that way and save a bundle in interest.
